Prius is the one of the cars thats kinda hard to get deal since they have been selling like hit cake.

I went to VW to get my wife a Tiguan, without sitting there long, we could get awesome deal. Tiguan didnt do too gokd compared to Honda CRV or Rav4.

but best sellers like Prius, dealer still can sell them at higher price so you need to make reasonble offer.

Telk them you want to to Invoice under 300. Then they will know you are serious.

Most dealers aren't willing to go that low on the Prius, but there are a few dealers if you can find em that will. Many times a slow day or quota push will lead to lower offers. While looking for a loaded Prius C Four earlier this month, I received 2 offers well below invoice; this was without haggling. I found Prius shopping a lot easier now than it was a year ago, when gas prices were even higher and the C debuted. Dealers wouldn't budge, and there was no 0% apr.

I went to my local Dealer last evening, asked for Fleet mgn. (didn't want to deal floor Salesmen) and asked if he can price-match another Toyota ad price.
Within 6-mins he said he CAN price-match ANY Northern California dealers (as long you have proof, he say)

So here what I got from him.
    *2013 Prius 2, $21,688 before Tax & DMV & Doc fee $80.

    *2013 Prius 3, $22,688 before Tax & DMV & Doc fee $80.
both will come with Protection PACKAGE -inc: door edge guards, fender edge guards, mats - FREE!

I plan do the transactions within this week.
Now deciding which one to pick???
    .........and this is good price?

Yes those are good prices. Looks like the only catch is that you have to put a down payment that matches the rebate. Now you have to decide if the 3 door sks/entune/nav/backup cam is worth the extra $1k...But I look at it this way, the price you are paying for a 3 would be a deal for what you'd pay for a 2!

    Thanks for the feedbacks rayray,

The Prius will paid-out, so seem like the #3 way to go.....
like you said paying for #2 for #3.

**If I buy aftermarket head unit with GPS, it will cost me $500+, and gotta do the Backup camera Mod, no 3 doors open and no free 3yr entune and time of installations. I'll stick the $1k oem upgrade.

Sounds awesome, a certain toyota dealer in NC has the Prius SE no haggle price for $26,500.
What is the name of the dealer if you don't mind me asking?
I'd definitely drive up there for a similar deal, I'm in SoFL.
I'm sure the Persona is also known as the SE.
    Am I wrong?

for the BEST price, try carwoo. com

sevral dealers will send you their best quotes and you can counter-offer them.

I could've save $300 than the price I signed but I know I got sick deal so Im happy.

and for those future Prius buyers, this 2013 model is the last of Gen3.

You can also mention that to salesperson to go little deeper.

+1 on carwoo. Makes car shopping so much easier if you are patient with it. Luckily for me, I was able to get great offers the first day I used it.

BTW I thought the gen 3 was being extended to the 2014 model?
I know this is just rumors, but worth a look:

Can you share how you got the quote? The first couple of quotes I received are ~24700 with Carwoo.

    Thank!

for Prius 2 Out the door for $24700 is great deal.

the guy who got the quotes above you will end up around $25000 or little less after tax and tags fees.

He had an advertised price from one dealer and went to another to price match IIRC.

I don't know what area you're at (using my phone browser so can't see ur info). But Miller Toyota in Anaheim here in SoCal has an Internet special. Silver 2013 Prius two for $21,800. Just gotta make sure they don't mark up the car which I believe is pretty simple.

Btw did u throw counter offers on carwoo?

    Thanks for your replies.
The quotes I got are before TTL. I am also from SF bay area, same as nomoreow shown in his/her profile.
I am hoping to get quote from a few more vendors before starting negotiation.

If you use carwoo or contact internet sales via email, you don't have to wait to negotiate. You should just negotiate right then and there. It's hassle free, doesn't take much effort, and you won't get harassed by phone calls. There's some internet salesman that like to be sneaky and tell you theyll give you a quote if you come in. Just ignore em because there's internet salesman who do not wanna play games and shoot you an aggressive offer right off the bat. That way you can get a more final price quote, and have something to compare to when you check out other places.
