What have you plasti-dipped or thought of spray coating.

    I've recently finished coating the whole inside of the cargo tray with black plasti dip. It seems to keep the things from sliding and making noise. While the tray was drying I had half a can left so I pulled the tire and tools out of the wheel well and sprayed the whole painted cargo area.

    I ended up using another can of black for a second coat but the wheel well is soooo much cleaner. The paint is protected from scratches and the sound is deadened. I'm looking to spray more stuff like the emblems, nose and maybe some parts inside on the dash since they seem to scratch easy.

    I'm wondering what if anything you have all sprayed?

    Just the emblems so far. I've thought of doing my hubcaps and lower bumper area directly below the grill (to make it kinda look more like a 2012+) but haven't done those yet. Whatever you experiment with post up some pictures!

    I'll post up some pics when the weather clears up here in Miami. That lower bumper area is a good idea thanks!!

    I hadn't thought of dipping the wheels. Can you post up some shots?

    I've used this on my BMW and it did make the trunk quiet. I spray it right onto the sheet metal.

    Looks good. I like how you only sprayed the chrome bits and not the blue.
    Did you have to remove them or did you spray them on the car?

    Sprayed em on the car. I masked with painter's tape so I didn't get overspray anywhere, but otherwise, it went pretty well. The best part is how nicely it peels off from where you don't want it.

    I sprayed the entire Toyota emblem and then went in with a toothpick to peel away the dip from inside the emblem.
