    Hi all,

I've recently started getting some static shocks off my prius, just wondering if any of you have this experience and or know a solution for it?

    Thanks in advance

    Zakk :)

Yeah, I get shocked all the time from the Prius.
To solve it- grab on the the top part of the door frame as you're exiting- the static build-up is actually caused by you dragging your butt across the driver seat as you exit. When you ground yourself to the metal door frame- you prevent the static buildup.

I still get static shocks with my leather seats and all weather mats. But it is less than if I had cloth seats.

Interesting; I get shocked from my Ford Focus all the time, but have never gotten one from my Prius
