Sorry if this has been posted before. I have a 2010 IV with Nav. Can't I connect an iPhone as a phone and music player? I read on another thread that someone connected under audio menu as a phone and music player. When I did this and went back to phone menu, it said no phone was connected. When I connected phone, BT audio tab was grayed out. Any advice?

Yes. You need to set it up your BT to pair with your phone first.

It'll ask if you want to drop the connection, agree, and set up the phone, then the audio should set up, as well. I've even had my son's iPod stream while my iPhone was still linked as a phone. Easily switched back after his song was over.

You may want to consider deleting all the BT connections (audio and phone) at the HU, then setting up the phone, then the audio separately. Shut the car down, fire it up again, and in a couple moments, you should see it all connect again.

I'll be up against this again when I get a new phone soon(HTC One, I think). I hope it works as seamlessly as my current iPhone does, and previous iPhone 3 did.
