    We plan on either selling our Prius or trading in for a new one prior to 150,000 miles which is the
    battery warrant period for Oregon. Just to be on the safe side. It doesn't make sense to keep the car for a couple of more years and wake up with a $10,000 surprise.....

    I believe there should be a mechanism preventing someone registering and posting at the same time. Something like a gun waiting period. Also, the server should compare the IP address with stated location. That should prevent the paid astroturfers from roaming free here.

    Could be, but many 2Gen as taxis have passed those 200k miles. And 3Gen technology was improved...

    ALL I GOT TO SAY IS THAT I HAVE BEING A MEMBER HERE LONGER THAN YOU AND I HAVEN T RAISED ANY INNUENDO RED FLAGS ... WHAT I HAVE REPORTED HERE IS MERELY THE TROUGH. THERE ARE PRIUS OWNERS HERE IN GREECE THAT MADE THE FIRST STEP IN SUING TOYOTA FOR THE REAL-ABILITY OF THE BIG BATTERY PACK . AND TOYOTA HELLAS HAS REQUESTED A LEGAL ACTION HALT UNTIL THE END OF THIS MONTH I THINK . DONT MAKE ME OUT TO BE A LIAR BUD .
