I want to get a cargo liner for our new 2013 Prius two, but I'm not sure which one. I really like the looks of the Weathertech and I like they're products (I have the digital fit floor liners in my Subaru). I also noticed the Husky is fairly similar and a little less expensive. Then there is the OEM cargo liner which I like because it's actually two pieces and should offer easier access to the lower storage section, but I think it only comes in black. I can get the Weathertech in a light gray which would match the back of our Prius really well. I guess my question is, does anyone out there have the Weathertech cargo liner in your Prius, and how easily can you access the lower storage area? Any input will be a big help!

I have the weather tech and I love it. Its definitely saved the cargo floor.

The lower cargo area is easy to access without any storage on top of the mat. For full access to the storage area you will need to fold up the corners so they don't bind against the side panels in the cargo area.

Either of the other mat designs would require the same thing from what I have seen in their product pics because they are one piece mats.

Great! That is exactly what I was hoping to hear. I will also be ordering a set of the Weathertech digital fit floor liners for the Prius, but we won't need those before fall. The cargo liner is a more immediate need.

    Maybe a bit off topic...

I don't have a cargo liner, would rarely need one, but found myself in a pinch yesterday, as I bought two flats of flowers and a huge bag of potting soil.

I opened the hatch, looked at the carpet-style liner, and flipped it over. It has a rubbery/plastic backing!

I flipped it over, loaded up and drove off. After unloading, I shook out the mat, brushed the back of the liner with my hand to knock off any nasty bits that would stain my carpet when I flipped it right side up.

Turns out we all have a cargo liner.

I'm in the same boat as you but I think I will be getting weathertech cargo liner and all weather mats combo.

I went with Husky. Lifetime warranty versus a few years. =]

I think Husky and Weather Tech are the top two. You'll be happy either way. =]

I have a Husky cargo liner it is slightly difficult to get to the underfloor storage. I had a WeatherTech liner for a couple of days I had initially ordered the WT liner but I cancelled my order the liner still shipped. As mentioned above it is a one piece liner and it is equally as difficult to get to the under floor storage as the HL. If getting to the under the floor storage is critical to you I would look in to getting the OEM Toyota cargo liner it is a two piece design. I posted pics and a brief review of both the WT and the HL cargo mats around here some place.

I just bought and installed the gray Weather Tech cargo mat.
You are right about the color matching the back. It looks great.

I only have a couple of weeks use but I would say access to the lower storage area is not hindered to any degree that ANY mat would hinder it. It's flexible enough and light enough that you can lift it up, as you would have to do with any mat installed. For anything more than just a lift and grab of things in lower storage, the easiest thing of course is to temporarily remove the mat. This would be true of any mat, and the Weather Tech can easily be pulled out, and returned.

I like the color, the looks and the material it is made out of seems to offer a water proof aspect and also a washable durability. I like the product. It is however not cheap.

The primary reason I purchased it over just a useable rubber mat, was the light gray color. I think it looks a lot better than a rubber piece.

Weather Tech digital fit products are almost like a durable second flooring as opposed to actually being Mats. I mean you use them as mats....but they fit so precisely they look just like a second flooring.

Does anyone have experience with this cargo liner. I'm probably going to get it but I'm worried it may be difficult to clean.
