Brand new owner of a 2013 Prius Four with the HDD Display add-on. I did a search, but came up empty, so I'm hoping someone here might be able to help. I have 6 tabs of radio presets on my vehicle, each with 5 or 6 stations. I don't need that many tabs. I maybe only have 12-15 presets that I want between XM/AM/FM. Is there any way to delete the extra tabs so I don't have to scroll through stations I don't want?

    Thanks in advance!

I have not seen that as an option. You can start to program your one through fifteen a second time, so you don't have to go back and forth!

    tach18k,

That's really odd. I show 6 pages with 6 presets on each. So you only show 2 pages with 6 presets on each? Did you buy yours new or was it used and perhaps the previous owner figured out how to do it?

Thanks. I am letting the XM expire and have no need for all the presets. Not too impressed with XM... I think they put all the tabs there so people will subscribe to XM to fill them all in!

i agree, i couldn't find anything interesting on xm. i'd rather listen to music on my usb. i used to hate listening to the radio, hoping a song i liked would come on. having thousands at your fingertips? priceless. but i realize xm is very popular, my friend listens to comedy 24/7.:p

I did notice the radio presets or which I only use the first 2 sets. I just left the others alone.

When I brought my car in for the 5,000 mile check up, I had the dealer undo the reverse beep which I found annoying, and changed when I touched the door handle all the doors unlocked rather than the driver door. They did it for free. It seems to be a common request.

I got the $9 a month XM with just a few stations of news, music and one comedy station. Not sure if it is worth the trouble. I like to listen to the news during the morning commute, and the CNBC Market watch is a good finance program. Music on the way home and in the evening. It reminds me of Netflix, pay for it but hardly get the value from it.

Yup! I drive from appointment to appointment for work. It's either iPOD or Talk Radio for me. I flip through FM, and I hear the same song that was on when I got out of the car.

I also like that my Visual Voice Mail (T-Mobile) plays through the bluetooth. It makes life sooo much easier...

Man, I'm the complete opposite of you guys when it comes to SiriusXM. If you'd have told me 5 years ago that I'd be willing to pay to listen to the radio, I would have told you that you were crazy. My old car was a 2008 Chevy Malibu LTZ. I had at least 15 SiriusXM stations programmed into my radio (you could actually delete unused pages on that car), varying from Pop to Rap to Sports Talk, to the MLB game channels. I never listed to terrestrial radio. I listened to music from my phone through my car, but I like the "new" that I would get from a lot of the channels, as well as the talk from MLB or Mad Dog Radio.

To each his own, I guess...

That said, would love it if someone had an answer to my original question. I've ready through the manual at length, but can't find anything. I did find where I could change the door unlock to be all doors from touching the driver's side door and did that immediately.

The dealer is very helpful with new car owners. If you can't wait for the 5,000 mile free check up for him to make the required programmable changes go there sooner.

The dealer gave me a cargo net for free, and the service center installed it for free. Just ask them about the radio or nav they are very helpfull

I may give them a call to see if they know if it's possible. I posted something on Toyota's Owner's Website, but it doesn't seem like that place gets much action.

Nice score on the cargo net. I always wonder why Dealers don't give customers something like that "after the sale" as a way of saying thank you. You know it doesn't cost them much, but it's a little thing that seems to go a long way.

i just set every preset i am not using to xm channel 0. it's about as good as i could get to erasing/blanking out the presets. as for the number of pages shown, i doubt you can change that

It just seems odd that they wouldn't give you that ability. I had that ability on my 2008 Malibu LTZ and that car, while very nice, was generic technology wise, compared to the 2013 Prius.

the headunit is the worst part of the car. it's just outsourced crap that uses old technology. It's not customized to the prius at all and not very worthy of being in such a technologically advanced car. you'd think a radio in a car like the prius would be a centerpiece to show off the advancements and technological achievements that have been reached, but i'm embarrassed to even show it to people. the nav is so bad i wish it wasn't even on there or could be permanately disabled. i'm still blown away it can't even show a 3d map perspective at all and is stuck looking like the navs that came out in the 90's. after making a phone call, the screen reverts back to the map and I can't push that audio button fast enough to get that crap off the screen.
