It was well deserved after you said I 'threw cancer under the bus!'

On the UN World Health Organization list I'm looking at right now, Top 10 Causes of Death, cancer does not appear in the top 10 of either Low-Income Countries or Middle-Income Countries. For High-Income Countries, it does appear at positions #3, 7, and 10.

For the whole World, respiratory cancer shows at position #7, no other cancer appears in the top ten.

So your view that cancer is a top 3 killer is not only false, it is seriously skewed towards the wealthy portion of the planet that can already most afford to deal with health problems.

 

Paul Allen's letter praises Bill & Melinda Gates, doesn't mention cancer, and does mention non-medical donations. Larry Ellison's letter doesn't mention cancer, and does praise Warren Buffet.

What is your point with these?

 

Right. Moreover, cause of death does not take into account how old the person was when they die. If I manage 80-85 years of productive life, I don't care a whit if my death certificate says old_age or cancer as the cause of death.
