I bought a 2013 Prius C One last Saturday. My 2007 Yaris was recently totaled, so it was time for another car. Someone hit and run (or is it hit and ran?) my Yaris in the middle of the night hard enough so that it was totaled.

I was in the market for another Yaris, but the Prius C caught my eye. I had never even ridden in a Prius before, but I decided to give it a try. It's a small car, but I seldom need much space, there's just the three of is. I ordered a roof bag for use when I do need more space, like when we go camping. We're pretty good at packing light, the more space you have, the more you think you "need".

No cruise control on the One, it would be sort of nice to have, but I seldom used it when I did have it. Most of my driving is city driving, so cruise control isn't all that useful. If I decide I really want it, I may have cruise control installed.

Think you should have looked at a regular prius, more room, more horsepower, cruise control.
If it works for you, cool beans. Still way better than the yaris for sure.

I like the lower price of the Prius C. If the Prius C was not available, I would have purchased a Yaris. I liked my Yaris, but I also liked the gas mileage of the Prius. The C has sufficient room for the three of us, my family can go to the grocery store and still have room for the groceries, which means it has plenty of room for my normal usage. If I need more space, like when I am going camping, I can use a roof bag. The C works just fine for me.

You can buy them online and install them yourself fairly cheaply.
