Ah, another new model and again different NAV commands.

I have tried "suspend guidance" & "delete destinations" as well as a lot of profanity and I cant find the voice command to get the entune NAV to stop. The inbuilt command help seems to indicate a pretty limited vocabulary for start up commands.
Has anyone figured this out yet?
On a related note is there a dictionary of commands published anywhere?

In the Map screen, press "Options", then press "Cancel Guidance". I don't think there's a voice command for it.

I hope that the Toyota software engineers put a "stop guidance" in the voice commands on the next update.

I am very very disappointed to be finding this thread :(

I just posted over in the Lexus Hybrids section how poor the new Lexii 2013 NAV is and now it looks like Toyota has not only dropped the ball but kicked it into the sewer drain as well. I can't believe the "Suspend Guidance" and "Resume Guidance" have been eliminated. What is just as bad is my wife's brand new RX 450h continues GPS guidance DURING phone calls. How pathetic is that.

I called Lexus Customer Service at 1-800-255-3987, Option 5 to log my complaints and would suggest Toyota Customer Service be called as well. These NAV issues need to be corrected in the next firmware release!!!!

The Prius does this as well. That is a GOOD feature so you still know where to turn if in an unfamiliar area!

The person on the other end of the call can't hear the guidance, and you can still hear them if they talk at the same time.

Unfortunatley you are WRONG, the person on the other end of the call CAN hear the guidance, in Lexii at least. I spoke with Lexus Customer Service this morning to confirm and they have it as a "known issue". I also confirmed it while talking with my wife as she drove to work today.

Also as long as you are on the Map screen the turns still show, at least in properly working NAV's such as the ones in our 2006 and 2007 Prii. I can't confirm this is the case in new Prii you would know more there. If this isn't the case this is another bug that needs to be fixed in the next firmware release.

I was speaking about the feature as applied in the Prius.
