Hey, gang..., Just got my 2004 back from the front end being "reconstructed" after an accident. Occasionally, as I slow down (25 mph or so?, the red triangle/exclamation point) lights up, stays on for a few seconds, then disappears. The car otherwise is running as it always has - nicely. The manual, as expected, is NO help here. Maybe a brake issue, ..? Any thoughts?

    Thanks, Pseudolus

With any electrical issues with the Prius always suspect the 12V until proven impossible. I would run the check. Shops are notorious for draining the 12V.

Check the engine oil level on the dipstick when the car is on level ground and the engine has been off at least 5 minutes. The oil level is probably low.

Patrick's suggestion is likely correct. But to check the 12v do the procedure found here and report back all three readings.
