    Hey Firemechanic. I just got the same set of wheels and plan to buy the same spacers you did. How are they so far? Were you surprised that they came in @ 3.5mm rather than just 3mm? Also, did you request for the new hub ring to be 10mm or is that the length they would have cut it to anyway? How is the fit of the new hubs to the car and to the wheel? Sorry for all the questions. I'm very interested to see how the overall experience worked out. Thanks in advance!

    The spacers so far have been great. I havent lost torque on the lug nuts yet so everything is staying tight. I already have 4K miles on them, thanks to a drive to San Diego over spring break. The spacers came in at 3.5mm thick but thats just fine. When I requested the hat height to be 10mm the representative on the other line said that they would have made them around that height anyway. I always like to be sure so I specified all measurements. If you need specifics, contact info or maybe the job ticket # let me know.

    Or you could stand-by. I'm going to try to install my set of these wheels this weekend and my plan is to use a sanding disc on a high speed and blend off 3 mm from just the corner edge of the caliper mount.
    I'll post detailed pics when I do it.

    Those wheels look awesome. i'm actually leaning towards them as well. Just waiting on the spacers to arrive. I was wondering what kind of mileage are you guys getting on the frs wheels now? better/worse?

    Definitely worse than stock 15's but I'm getting about the same as my old 17" MOMO's with MXM4 LLR's. I've put 10k on my FRS wheels (with the stock Michelin Primacy tires) and I'm averaging around 46.5MPG driving normally......as I call it. I tried maximizing my mileage awhile back through two tanks of fuel and I averaged 51 MPG but it drove me nuts. It was hard and I'm not partial to being flipped off and honked at for holding up traffic.

    Ha! I'm currently on oem 17" wheels so the that's good to know that I won't realize too much of a loss in mpg. Man can't wait for the spacers to come in. Anyone know a place to get a decent set of tpms for them? Mines unfortunately did not come with them.

    I have a spare set of 4 from my 2007 Camry. They are the exact same sensor with the same part #. I don't know what they are worth but make me a fair offer and they are yours. I can sent detailed pics if you want. I you don't need them this offer is open to anybody.

    I found someone in my city selling his FRS wheels, but without the tpms sensors. Is it possible to use the sensors I already have and install with the new wheels?

    Yes.......The sensors in the Prius wheels will fit the FRS wheels.

    They say you should install them with new sealing gaskets though. But that's just to CYA, you should be ok as long as the gaskets are in satisfactory condition.

    They're necessary, without them, they don't clear the brake caliper holders. Other members were to try to grind away a couple millimeters off the caliper holders to clear the wheels, but AFAIK no one has posted back with results or pictures.

    Sorry for taking so long to reply, been away from the forum due to having surgery on my back. Not fun at all. Know if all I gotta do is put those sensors on and it would work right away? No programming needed? I'm not in any rush now since I can drive for a bit until I'm fully recovered. the wheels just sitting in the garage now waiting to be put on.

    You would need to have them programmed at the dealer, or by someone who has techstream.
