Overreaction to Paula Deen?

I knew someone at work that seemed to have a brilliant memory of offences. He was a job hopper and remembered how each employer gave him a raw deal....would talk at length years later. Drove him to lunch once and when some high school punk in a pickup blasted around me nearly driving on the school sidewalk the instant a patrolman left, I blurted and mocked the idiot gearhead. Every day for the next two weeks, and occasionally over the next two years he talked about it. I merely heckled - the reckless gearhead could have run over somebody! My friend gave the bandwidth worthy of assault-and-battery or drawing a firearm.

While I'm not famous or a professional, it's clear you let negativity own you. PD's comments are NOT 9/11 or the Holocaust!!! Is this the only thing that has happened the past two weeks? Countless murders, rapes, slander, maiming, other acts of inhumanity has occurred and displaced PD on page one.

Life is unfair, but PD has suffered for her actions and continue to do so if she repeats.

We can choose to dwell on such negative events in the past or make the most of the present. JMD - live in the present.
