I'm 6'2" and 240. I have plenty of room and headroom. The seat goes down quite a ways, and though I have to lean the seat back back it isn't uncomfortable. However, the door post is right where I would look for traffic and I have to go forward of it or rearward to get a look at what's coming.

I don't use the back seat much, but it's there and large enough for most people. I have to put the seat forward a bit if someone is behind me but its only for around town. It would be a drag for hours, though.

There is enough room in the trunk for two AR-15 cases and several range bags with room left over. Alternately, there is room for most grocery runs with overflow going into the footwell of the front passenger side. I have a truck for anthing larger. The seats fold down and there is a good amount of room. It just the C, after all. If you NEED to move a lot of stuff I'd go with something else.

If you're used to a most audacious stereo - this isn't one of them. It's ok to about 80%, where it falls flat on its face. There are upgrades but I haven't gotten around to them yet.

Thanks for all of the great input guys.

Actually went back to the dealership today after talking to a salesman that I leased a Scion TC from a few years back. On the liftback Prius they are actually giving 0% financing to anyone with tier 3 or higher credit.

So I am the proud new owner of a Prius 2. Costs quite almost $100 more a month, but it all goes to the principal and I still get 50mpgs, which should save me about $75/month in fuel. Plus I am done with it in 5 years when I still had more than 5 years on my cruze.

Wow, I'm impressed that you ended up with a shorter loan period than the car you replaced. Trust me, the $100 more per month is no big deal when you're saving on fuel. I've immediately noticed my wallet shrinking less, because you don't pay for gas once a month, you do it regularly.

Since you live in the same area, I'm curious which dealership you went to? I went to West Herr in Orchard Park. They did well with the price for the car I purchased, but didn't do well with trade in value. The car I had was worth more than they provided. But what's new? That's how dealers make money, they squeeze out profits somewhere.

I actually went to Fuccillo Toyota on Grand Island. They gave me 20k for my Cruze which I think is far more than fair, since the LTZ like mine are going for something like 23k new right now. They didn't come down at all off of the sticker price though for the Prius. Overall I think it was an extremely fair deal. Maybe I could have beat them up a bit to get a few hundred off the new car, but I didn't want to be greedy since I had one dealership offer me 16k and 2 others would only do 18k.

I was stuck paying Ally (GM financial) something like 5% interest, so going from that to 0% is HUUUGE!!! Pun very much intended.

Maybe I should have tried Fuccillo, I looked at Northtown and West Herr Williamsville, but those two lots didn't have the color I was looking for for the C Three, so I really couldn't make a deal even if I wanted. Fuccillo completely skipped my mind, I forgot to even look there.

Just because a car isn't on the lot doesn't mean that they won't trade to get the car you want. Never overlook a dealership just because they don't have a car.

Which dealer offered $16k? A West Herr dealer?

Actually it was Orleans Ford all the way in Medina...

I had horrible luck with Northtown, I was thinking about getting a Jetta Tdi before I got the Cruze and was not impressed at all. But maybe I just got a poor sales person.

Fuccillo has done us fairly in the 3 cars I've bought or leased there.

absolutely on the mark. Must be, my rationale too. And its accurately to my driving, including track events.
BTW for those who don't remmber the Olds Dieel you may want to not consider a GM diesel for a couple of years while they straighten out their 'cost savings' applications to Diesel.
And as for those those mpg estimates ONLY consider the city mpg, the highway mpg is reached with a tailwind on as downhill traffic free nterstate. Thats the advantage of using computer cotrolled tests; humans just don't make much of a computer, thank goodness.

I have a diesel powered ruck but its but its not a GM. Good mpg considering the load it carries but I have a hard time havibfg a diesel car. Too slow and too much trouble with 'gassing' up.

I was a owner of a 2013 Prius C (purchased December 15, 2013). I loved the car. I drive 410 miles a week on single fill up of gas ($31.00). My one complaint is the hp output (a combined 99) which means relegating me to the 3rd or last lane of a chaotic Los Angeles freeway. I do not drive fast and haven't received any speeding ticket at all but to be tacked between 65 to 70 and everybody passing me... didn't make it fun to drive at all. Just yesterday, a 1983 tempo (just like my old dad drives) zoomed past me ... I tried to rev it up but I just couldn't pass it. Today, I traded in it today, I took a small loss financially. Based on a couple of times I rented my new car on trips to Las Vegas, well at least, this new car has power. I traded it for a brand new 2013 Prius one. Goodbye my fellow prius c owners.

Your PC will do over 100... not sure why you feel "relegated". But glad your extra 20 horsepower will be enough. :)

Prius 2 - they took my prius c for 14600 - I should have push for more - but I just to get out of it.
I owed 17240 on it - so they tacked 2640.00 at the bottom since I didn't put any money down.

No I love that Prius c but in all my years of driving (34) - I'm 50 I never had a car that slow- maybe it's me - the car I had before I bought the c was a 2005 scion x/a and that thing can rumble and I get on the carpool lane and stay on the carpool lane...with my c - I couldn't stay on the carpool lane without cars flashing lights, tailgating me or them leaving the lane and weaving in ahead of me...or me exiting to let them pass thru. I've had enough so I just drove on the 3rd or 4th lane and even on that lane... I couldn't manage a 70....hate might be a strong word but I needed a few more HP just to get thru...today was my ist day with the prius 2 - carpool all the way - from long beach to Pomona - the 605 to the 10 - 37 miles of carpool!

I'm still puzzling as to why the car couldn't do 70 mph. What kind of gradient are we talking here?
