    .... Due to harder braking?

I've finally given up after year and 7 months and scooted my driver's seat closer to a reasonable reach to my steering wheel. Cannot reach out with slightly bent elbows to drive the car. My stats: 6'2" tall, 36" inseam legs and long arms, see pic.

Reaching the brake has become a little more cramped. Generally braking harder, especially coming to a stop. I'm concerned it might reduce my MPGs over time and possibly wear the brakes quicker. Time will tell.

I'm not even all that close to the wheel: Only the lower part of my palm lays over top of the wheel. Wearing slender heel Skechers shoes. Gave up the thick soled athletic shoes.

I hope a steering wheel spacer can be put in bring the wheel out maybe an inch, or might be looking to move on in a couple years which I'd rather avoid.

I'm tall, but there's plenty of headroom in this car. I'm just horizontally challenged in it. No t-Rex arms here.

That's the one thing I wish Toyota would change is the amount of adjustment in both the tilt and depth of the steering wheel. The tilt function is barely functional, barely changing the angle when you adjust it. Even the Honda's I've had in the past were not that great.

Having gone from a Ford F150 to the Prius, my left elbow has nowhere to go and for a year or more it develops an ache, and gets twisted when removing it from the steering wheel.

Getting by on these things. Last time checked the 3M doesn't leave residue on fabric
