I chose the factory Plus Perf package so I didn't have to mess with anything. I wanted to order my car like I wanted it and park it in my garage for months at a time to preserve it [IMG]

Hey all, what about the Alloy Wheel Locks for the PPP? Does the PPP already come with locks? The Toyota Build website won't allow me to add the locks once the PPP is added...

Mine didn't come with them and my sales lady said the Toyota locks would not fit my wheels. I don't have aftermarket locks either.

Isn't the Plus Perf package made up of all TRD components? One would think the TRD wheel locks would fit the Plus Perf wheels but a dealer will say no. I even had those selected when I ordered my car and my sales lady said she was told that they will not fit my wheels so they deleted them from my order.

This got me to check my wheels tonight and they have factory locks. No wonder my sales lady took the locks off my order as the Plus Performance Package comes with wheel locks when port installed. I never realized that until tonight almost a year and a half since I took delivery of the car [IMG]

Wonder what else I don't know about my car [IMG]

Took some new pics of my now one year old Plus Performance, along with my wife's 2010, so you can see the difference side-by-side. I still love my Plus! Black car has 6KK HIDs/8KK LEDs, white has 4KK HID/6KK LEDs, but they all look the same in these pics.

haha true. the way i drive, i never get better than 36 mpg unless I make a specific effort to hypermile. But that's in either car. That said it's still at least double what i'd get in any of the other cars i considered, maybe even triple. Toyota/TRD did a good job with the Plus, it's much sportier handling and of course the big rims, but mpg doesn't seem to take a hit. Maybe the body kit helps.

And yeah, my wife beats me, gets about 45 mpg. She puts only 5K miles/year on it though, works at home, so as you can imagine much of the drive time is spent in warm-up mode (for me too, 9 mile commute) so it never really gets up to optimal mpg mode.

I thought I was the only one getting around 40mpg on my Prius with 17" wheels. I think the bigger wheels have a big effect on mpg if you don't hypermile/pulse & glide when you drive.
