How is Prius c's ride compared to liftback?

For those of you who owned a Prius liftback and switched to a Prius c, how much bumpier is the c's ride considering that it's a smaller car?

I'm trying to decide between the two, and comfort (relatively speaking, I know these aren't luxury cars) is a big consideration for me when choosing.

I currently own both and both my wife and I feel that the liftback is more comfortable. The liftback is way more composed on the highway. YMMV, obviously.

It handles better and rides a little stiffer. I prefer the C, over the Blowing Ball

The C is considered the "Sporty" Prius so it will have a stiffer suspension. The shorter wheelbase will make it handle better as well. This can be a little rough if you live in a place where the winter road crews don't take care of their roads.

Or your roads are mostly just plain bad.

This is true... I've seen roads in Florida that are awful that had nothing to do with winter, lol.

The C definitely has a stiffer ride. For me, I used to run over speedbumps in the liftback with little afterthought. I now pay attention to the speed bumps, but I'm not crawling over them by any means. It rides like an '08 corolla, if that helps.

Thanks very much for all of the input. I've decided on a liftback, vintage 2010.

If you're used to European cars, the ride quality of the C seems somewhat soft. If you're used to Japanese or American cars, you will probably think the ride is firm.
