What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

Installed the Valentis the other day. Thanks to Pansontw for the fast delivery and 32kcolors for the install write up! Selling the OEM lights if anyone wants em.

 

Interested in the Clazzios and blue side mirrors.

 

You may want to keep the oem lights in case you run into trouble with State inspections. They don't pass VA state inspections. Just fyi

Yep, those tinted reflectors aren't DOT legal.

 

Yeah, I'm in CA. From what i've looked up, as long as the lights are red, it's ok. I could be wrong though. Just from what I've seen on the CA DMV website.

Plug in Prius just came up on my radar as well, so if it all works out, I may keep all the parts and just transfer it onto the PIP

 

Illinois requires tail/brake lights to be red and visible from 500 feet.
I ran pretty dark tint on my tails for six years and never had a problem.

Obviously, some states have different restrictions and are more stringent on enforcement.

 

Get the PIP. That way you won't have to spend more money upgrading the new car and you can just reuse what you've already bought.

That was one motivation for me to get a 2013 Prius over trying out a different Hybrid model.

 

Ok, it's been a busy couple of weeks......
Had the rear spoiler color matched and add a lip.



Made a 5mm rear spacer to get wheel flush with the front.




Add the Aerojacket carbon fiber side skirt. Looks great, to bad it's hard to see in my pics.




I can't see the sense of making a big brake kit, besides looking dam cool, and I don't care for covers..but don't want to paint the ugly calipers. So covers it was. Color matched MGP. I must say, they're growing on me.




And finally got the chrome on the center caps painted black and put on.





I threw the last pic in just to show the carpet matches the drapes...

It gets easier to roll/unroll with use. Definitely keeps the leather from getting unbearably hot in this Florida sun!

 

CR-Kais are pretty much the perfect wheel for the Prius. Drool.

 

Got My Valenti tail lights from Panson too and I love them....

 

Got the 2013 Blizzard White Persona tinted 35% all around. Very pleased.

 

how's the fit of the skirt? could you pm me the cost to get the skirts (and where you got them).... thanks...

 

Looks good. Since there's a bunch of us close by, we should have a once a month gathering. Maybe every last Friday at Gerry's Grille??? We can compete with the BMW meet every Friday there.

 

Dipped calipers Blaze Orange, Smoke with Glossifier on the tails. (all Plastidip). I was going to do Blaze Green for the calipers, but went this way instead.
