Just bought a 2010 w 26k

    Hello everyone,
    I just bought a new 2010 prius 3 and am wanting to know what the quirky issues are if any with this vehicle. I was reading some kind of issues with the intake?? Is it overall as reliable as gen 2?

    What and where did you read about "intake" issues?

    We can't help if you don't give us more info.

    Didnt get a chance to read it all yet. Gotta head out. I just sent the initial deposit on the car, bought it online :cautious:

    First of all, congratulations! Finally, u already bought it so it's too late;), but don't worry the prius gen. 3 is known to be very reliable:) .

    Just watch for the oil change flap falling off - this was an issue with some of the early 2010s.

    Thanks friendly, Ill check on that. Whats the consensus on the onboard navigation? IIt put me more than an hour out of my way today coming home. I mean a whole other direction. LOVIN the sound system!!

    Er...not really. I was listed at $15900, but has changed since. (???) All I talked them down was $500 off the bogus fees they were trying to charge me. I let it go at $150 since I just wanted to get out of there.

    I paid 17800 for my 2010 26k premium sound,navigation etc. I found this awesome place thats simply buys off lease cars from auction and resells them. He has several there.

    It's OK to use it outside USA and not OK to use it in USA (CAFE country). Make your own conclusion.
