Just had my prius for a little over a month now and I ran over a nail, had the tire patched. Once I started to get back on the road, the wheels would shake when I go over 60mph. Ive had the tire balanced plenty of times and replaced the hubcentric ring since I have after market wheels on them. The wheels are 17" drag dr31 wheels. I am still having the issues, will replacing the tire fix the issue? The tire is located in the front drivers side.

Rotate the tire and see if the symptom follows it first. Most likely it will.

Ive had it rotated to the back tire and the front would have minimal shaking, I went ahead and put the original wheel up front and it started to shake again. I am beginning to think I might just have to replace the tire but I would want some opnions from others. The tire is fairly new only had about 5k miles on them, it came with the car when I purchased it from the dealer.

So you rotated it and the vibration moved with the wheel?

The tire itself may be out of balance from the damage/repair... You will only know for sure if you replace the tire. The longer you wait, the greater the tread differential between the old tires and the new tire. You may be able to feel that when you drive. If you're as crazy as I am, you'd replace two tires to counteract that.

I noticed a slight vibration when I moved the back wheel to the front.

Yeah I am not to fond of mismatched wheels myself. I am just gonna replace the tire and see whats happens. Hopefully its nothing to drastic ive just recently purchased the vehicle.
