Should I get the lowering springs and rear sway bar?

    This is a question that has remained unanswered. Since there's no aftermarket struts for the gen III prius, some people have reported no premature wear on the stock struts. However, there is a member here who has claimed that his stock rear struts blew out 15k miles after lowering on stock TRD springs...Then again, the Prius with Plus Package comes lowered on TRD's with stock struts as well since 2011. I haven't heard any complaints from them.

    Yeah, if it comes that way as a factory option, I really can't see how Toyota would allow it if it did indeed damage the struts. Unless their engineering and R&D is really bad, which it isn't.

    Pm Rude person's for his mid and front chassis brace. They make a unbelievable improvement for such a small upgrade.
