Hey guys, been a while since ive been on here, but my wife had a slight adventure on the freeway, where a huge piece of blown out tire decided to hug the under area of the driver side wheel... tearing off the splash guard and ripping apart the ABS sensor cable... so now my question... where would you Prius experts recommend me get replacement parts, specifically the 2 mentioned at reasonable prices.. went to the dealer, and the sensor alone im looking at $240 easily.. X_x

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The only other choice besides the dealer for OEM parts would be a salvage yard.

Would you have any idea of an ABS Sensor working with my 2012 model?

Keep the wife and just pay the dealer. Doesn't your insurance cover this?

Too bad you don't live in northern california, my buddy works at a toyota dealer as a parts guy and he would be able to get a discount on parts lol...

any who, I found a site for toyota parts

    http://www.trademotion.com/parts/2012/TOYOTA/PRIUS/index.cfm

I haven't bought parts from that site before, so do your research before you purchase anything. Good luck.

There have been very few minor, cosmetic changes to the Gen III since the 2010 model. I would be very surprised if a 2010 or newer ABS sensor did not work in your 2012.
