    I liked your post last Monday and it has encouraged me to post (after waiting a respectable period) my wife's lifetime stats to get on the bottom of the list while I can. I want to be able to say "Chazz was here!" even if I'm sharing the spotlight with Melanie and her amazing PiP Adv. Wife has good daily commute of 16 miles and she has taken up the Eco Challenge in Entune, so she is driving economically.
    MPGe=(EV miles + HV miles) / ((HV gallons + .5) + ((EV kWh / .85) / 33.7))
    MPGe=(1549+857) / /((15 + 0.5) + ((360 / 0.85) / 33.7))
    MPGe = 85.72

    So now it is my turn to wait for the next entry that will knock us off the board towards the "middle of the pack." We can still have fun watching the sheep, sun, rainbow, and fruit on the trees appear in the Eco Challenge app. My wife wrote in a Toyota survey that she wished for a unicorn to show up on the road in the app.

    Nice work guys!

    And I predict that before cold weather hits that all 10 spots will be 100+.

    Just crossed 1,000 miles. I filled up to get the pump measurement.

    I lost some efficiency due to the video I made about EV-BOOST.

    Looks like you used 6.5 gallons instead of 6.3 measured from the pump.

    Just to be fair across the board and so only one pic needs to be posted I would prefer to use the standard formula. But of course if the consensus says otherwise, I am open to it.

    I can post another entry once I have consumed 6.9 gallon but that would be misleading and inaccurate.

    Totally get what you are saying but I'm just so torn. One of my aims in this list was to get as much participation as possible. I feel we will get the highest number of people trying if it is simple and only one picture to post. But like I said, if we get a few others to agree with you I will definitely give in.

    I suppose we should also consider doing a Top 20 if we want the highest participation possible.

    I agree that it is relatively easy to game the rules and get miles for an extra 0.4 gallons (even 0.49) if you watch the numbers carefully. It could also go the other way...you could use 0 and get accounted for 0.5, etc.
    But what would the second picture be of and how do you know it was taken at the same time? Its not like there are prizes being given out. :) or are there?

    Well, I've never reset my meter since taking delivery over 2 1/2 years ago . . .
    Can I play?
    you don't want to discriminate, do you?

    hmm . . . seems simple enough;
    Ratio Screen
    over 1,000 miles . . . . in fact - over 30,300 miles

    EV miles: over 30,300 miles & my HV is ZERO / HV gallons (ZERO)+ .5 / 5.5 / .85) / 33/7))
    ?????
    ok I'm lost . . . . do I win?

    That's a complication of it. Plus you have to do all 1000 miles on one tank which obviously isn't impossible, it just narrows the possibility of a great 1k miles for some people.

    If 5.5 miles/kWh is your lifetime average, it is very good. After adding 15% charging loss, it comes out to 158 MPGe.

    You should start a new thread for Leaf Top MPGe.

    My thinking was the gas pump measurement is optional. If you don't provide it, use the generic formula (add 0.5 gallon). Having it as optional won't hurt the participation since one can just submit an EV ratio screen.

    We are at a point where the extra accuracy can make the difference, which is why I made the effort to visit the gas station before I needed to fill up.

    No biggie. I am having fun participating in here.

    I'm game. Anyone else on board to make exact fuel amounts optional?

    Also, anyone on board to change to a Top 20 MPGe?

    :) Yes, optional/not needed on fuel amounts. Top Ten would be more exclusive, but Top Twenty would give us a greater range from top to bottom.

    Updated!

    I would have enough to do a top 16 already if we all agree that would be better for the community.
