stealth mode is when you are below 42mph (observed anyways) and have enough juice in reserve (AKA NOT TRUE EV MODE) if your load is light enough (not uphill.. aka flattish road or down hill) and you are light enough on the pedal, you can drive in "stealth mode" EV mode.. to the left of the center bar on the HSI screen

it will show you are in EV mode up top on the display..
You can only do this for so long before the ICE fires up and charges the battery then its available again.. but its very limited power wise and will not accelerate you well..

I glide whenever terrain and traffic allows. gliding is done where you keep the bar "in between" the CHG and EV side of the bar.. to the point where no bar is showing at all.. its tricky til you get used to it. you cant really accelerate much while gliding .. more for just maintaining speed..
Terrain in this area is hilly.. long inclines.. lots of up and down.

Light went off at 573. 700 club might ne obtainable. I will be able to charge away from home today at least 2 times. It's too bad I can't obtain 700 without using 9+ gallons of gas.

You have probably stated this several times already, but what is your commute like?

My commute varies sometimes 100 miles freeway one way. Sometimes I might be on the streets for 15 miles. On some days I can charge multiple times per day. But it's about 80% freeway 20% street

What do you do if you don't mind me asking? And what speed is the freeway part usually?

I've mainly use cruise control speeds vary from 55-72. I've been trying to learn stealth mode. Ill catch myself dripping to 50mph on the freeway. I'm slowly learning pulse and glide. Not very good I might add.

One advantage That I have is my job allows me to visit car dealerships and If possible ill charge my car while I'm working. I try to take routes where I can utilize hybrid HV Mode as well. I've got about 2500 miles on the car so maybe the car & tires are setting in tire pressure 42f 40r.

I definitely try to push the last bar of gas. I drove 136 miles from the time the bar starting blink
