I would like to get leather seats for my Plug-in basic . Is it possible to replace the material of the seats that I have currently (Grey soft cloth)?. Can it be done without voiding warranty?.

I think the Advanced model has leather seats.

Katzkin, or Clazzio seat covers come to mind.

Check with any upholstery shop. Maybe even ask your car dealer for a referral. It's important that the new upholstery is designed to work with the airbags in the seats.

my dealer is quoting 2350 for heated leather seats. Is it cheaper to get is done outside from a OEM shop?. Can getting it done by OEM shop affect warranty on the car?.

Any suggestions.?. Thanks much. Appreciate it.

Its much cheaper to get it done elsewhere (even another dealer). When I bought my car, I got them for $1250 installed at Carson Toyota (although I have seen other people who got them even cheaper).

You car already has heated seats.. so its just a matter of removing the fabric and getting the leather put on (if you go with something like Katzkin)

Yes and Yes, you can put leather seat covers in your plug in, I did. I bought Clazzio , they took forever to arrive but look great in the car.

It will not effect the warranty on the car. :)

Checked with my dealer. For some reason , they thought that they have to install the Heater module in the seats. So that is out of the picture now because Plug-ins already have them. Its just the seat covers. 3 years warranty and stuff. Will give me a loner car also for couple of days.

Did they lower the price to something more reasonable?

I agree... couldn't be happier with Classio covers...
