I would be willing to start this club if there was enough interest. Anyone in? :)

    Interested.
Considering purchasing a new 2013 Prius... Very excited! But the price wars...and trying to get the best deal. Any tips, preference of car dealers or salespersons anyone likes/dislikes in Omaha area?

I did my purchase at Performance Toyota at the Harrison at exit off of I80. Got a great deal and they had 0% financing when I did it in march. Had a good selection too. I think the sales guy was Nate. I can look it up and post later. I picked up the persona version and have only 2500 miles but have an average of just under 53 MPG total since I purchased it.

Sales person was Noah Saurer. Younger guy but he was open about the process and it was pretty smooth compared to other cars I have purchased. Send me a message if you need any other info.

Personally I think you can do better on price expanding your search to a 100 or 200 mile radius.

I'd be interested IF my car is still alive. I just got the red triangle last night and have yet to get the codes.

I'll try to keep this short. I filled the car up before I took it in because it was almost out. All the codes were pointing to the cat. converter. After searching on here, I was going to change out the upstream O2 sensor but when they came to pick up the car, the warning lights were all gone. They checked it all out, cleared the codes and it seamed as good as new. In the meantime, a beautiful '02 showed up with 120K less miles than mine AND a brand new Toyota traction battery put in it. So I traded my 187K 2001 for a 67K 2002 that is in MUCH better shape and has a new battery. Now I'm set for a long, long time.

Glad it all worked out. I wonder what was going on with your old car

Not sure if some of the people above still hang around here. Still game though if we have enough.

    Go for it.
To start the club requires action. No need for consensus.
Just name a time and place and whoever can make this one will be there.

Hey! I'm from across the river in Council Bluffs! Had a 2001 and moved up to a 2004. Really love the cars and I'm into fixing them. Rebuild 2 Gen 1 packs and one Gen 2. Would be fun to get together with other owners in the area!

I just joined. We have a hybird Camry, but used to have a Prius. I totaled it a couple of years ago. No one was hurt but the wife still wishes she had her cute little car! Any way, I just put this ad on Craigslist:

I have four silver trim rings off of an '05 Prius (2nd generation Prius) that happened to be off the car when I totaled it :/ These rings should fit the standard wheels on '04' to about '08 Priuses. One has a hairline crack in it which is difficult to see (could be super glued). The rest in excellent shape. Check your trim rings--if they are scratched up from parking against a curb you or if you lost one, you could replace them with these. I called the Toyota parts department wants $53 each. I would like $15 each or $45 for the set of 4.

If you are interested let me know!
