    OK,OK, Off with the "type R" emblems (tomorrow if it doesn't rain). I have a set of Lexus "F- sport" emblems on the way and will place them in the same location, are you folks happy now?

    Why pretend to be something it is not???

    There is a Jeep GC at work with a fake 4x4 badge on the back. Everyone who knows Jeeps just laughs at it.

    :)Nice top color, quality work. Not a two tone fan, especially at $1800. If you get bored with it, you're halfway to a new paint job. I really like the top color and it would really be unique for a Gen III (well, not as much as now) if painted that solid color.

    If you going to fake it, at least keep in the same car company. Most people will never know its not an F type, just like most people would know a 4X4 Jeep from a 2 WD.

    Two tone looks good nice unique personal touch. As for colors , badges , tint , and such

    Ahmen to that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Most of these negative people are probably flustered in that their Prius's look just like every on else's. Today I took a 260 mile drive and saw no less than 14 Prius's, they all looked alike except for being different colors, that is why I did what I did to mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Happy to hear the Type-R badges are coming off. Thank you.

    I'm not a big fan of the F-Type badges either, but at least it's much closer.

    Do you have a close up picture of any part of the paint where it goes from orange to white? Also, did you consider painting the top part of the spoiler orange too? That might look cool.

    The paint line has a 1/16" black pinstripe, I though about painting the spoiler but I think it highlights the black rims and the pinstripe and the window moldings.

    Honda cant do anything regardless of what badges he wants on his car. if he were producing vehicles and attempting to sell them AND advertizing it as a Type-R then they would have something to work with. but they dont care if anyone puts their badges on their cars whatever make/model they may be.

    OP: im with everyone else about the Type R badges. i would not put them on my prii. i do however like the 2tone scheme. i would have chosen different colors, but i do like what you have done.

    I am not flustered at all. I don't feel the need to stand out, attraction attention, or get approval from other drivers. If I really wanted eyes on me, I wouldn't be driving a Prius.

    The nail that sticks out gets the hammer.
