If you mean the VIN or Vehicle Identification Number, then it is in numerous places. Most prominent is in lower right of windshield, on a dash placard, when looking at the windshield from the front end of the car.

It's also on the door, by the locking mechanism, and the driver's door jamb area, etc.

If you mean, the in depth information like date of manufacturing, options, trim level, etc. I have no idea lol. :D

You can ask your insurance agent. They seem to be able to tell what equipment and options, etc are installed on your car from the VIN number.

Ha, that site produces incorrect results for mine. In fact it returns only three lines other than the VIN (I blanked out the s/n):

    VIN number ...
    Region Japan
    Mark Scion
    Serial Number ...

Thanks for letting us know that, since I don't have a "c" to check against it.
Thought I was being helpful, but apparently not. :(
Now, go find a better site. Bye...

Google "VIN identification". its in every NADA used vehicle monthly edition ands I can't find mine right now. But it begins with country of manufacture, model, drivetrain, date, etc amnd ends with a sequential production line numer.
    Here is the rundown:
The VIN is 17 characters long and is composed of 3 main sections:
    • WMI - World Manfacturer Identifier - The first three characters that uniquely identify the manufacturer of the vehicle
    • VDS - Vehicle Descriptor Section - The 4th to 9th positions are used, according to local regulations, to identify the vehicle type, and may include information on the automobile platform used, the model, and the body style.
    • VIS - Vehicle Identifier Section - The 10th to 17th positions are used by the manufacturer to identify the individual vehicle in question. This may include information on options installed or engine and transmission choices.
VIN is normally located in several locations on a car, but the most common places are:
    • On the door frame/door post of the front doors (usually driver's but sometimes passenger's)
    • On the dash near the windshield
    • On the engine itself (machined pad on front of engine)
    • On the car's firewall
    • In the left-hand inner wheel arch
    • On the steering wheel/steering column
    • On the radiator support bracket
    • On your car's title, registration, guarantee/maintenance book or on the declarations page of your auto insurance policy
f you want to knoe each section ID on your car use one of the VIN identication 'free' sources.
