Possibly a niche question. Just switched from an iPhone 5 to an HTC One running Android 4.1.2. I normally connect my phone to my Prius C III via usb.

With the iPhone 5, Toyota Display Audio would show my music library perfectly sorted. With the HTC One, it does no sorting at all. It simply displays all audio files on my phone in one jumbled list.

Has anyone else had the same problem and (hopefully) found a solution?

This isn't a phone vs phone issue. It's how you saved the files to the phone. On the iphone you loaded them from itunes in alphabetical order and on the HTC you loaded the songs in a different order. The car displays whatever order they are loaded on your phone. If you delete them from your phone and then reload them in alphabetical order, they will show as such on your car.

do you have track number in your files? if so iirc it is by design they pull the track number and concatenation with the title. After this is done the list get sorted, and perhaps this explains why they are jumbled up
