    I'm getting a new phone no choice it comes Pre installed with the new OS. Good advice I'll leave my 4S on 6.x until I trade it in.

    I can use nav on the cars touch screen until they release the update. My guess is Entune may release a new version within days.

    Here's the text of the email:
    We hope you are enjoying your Toyota and your Toyota Entune App Suite service with in-vehicle access to popular mobile applications, such as Bing, Pandora and iHeartRadio. As you may have seen in the news recently, Apple plans to release its upgraded operating system, iOS 7, on September 18th and new iPhones 5c and 5s on September 20th. In anticipation of these events, we are working diligently to update the Entune app to make sure it's compatible with iOS 7 devices. Once the Entune app is updated, it will be available for download in the Apple App Store.

    If you are an iPhone user, please refer to the following guidelines to prepare you for this update:

    For Apple iOS 7 users:    ​
    • If you use the current Entune app version (1.10.26) on Apple iOS 7 devices, you could experience significant functionality issues, such as the app crashing or inoperable features and functions.​
    • Continue to watch for the Entune app update in the Apple App Store. Once the updted Entune app version (1.11.27) is available, please download the app update onto your Apple iOS 7 device.​

    For Apple iOS 6.1 users: You may continue using the existing Entune app (1.10.26) on your existing Apple device. However, we recommend that you download the updated Entune app version (1.11.27) once available.​

    For Apple iOS 5.1 or 6.0 users: You may continue using the existing Entune app (1.10.26) on your existing Apple device. In order to download the updated Entune app (1.11.27) once it becomes available, you must first upgrade your operating system to iOS 7.​

    To determine your current Apple operating system, go to Settings > General > About on your device and locate the Version displayed on the screen.

    For most apps you can bypass the problem app and use the browser and log in and complete the task.

    Entune that may be a different story. I only use the navigation and not that much to worry about it and the work around is google the address and enter it in the car touch screen destination tab. Not as efficient as entune but functional in a pinch

    These are the choices to purchase the new iPhone within 2 miles of my home. Trade in value is a 4S 16GB Att. New 5S 16GB AT&T is $199 plus tax

    Apple Store/ they have trade in $190
    Best Buy / they have trade in $220
    Walmart / they have trade in value $205. Phone discounted $10

    It sounds like Entune is saying update your entune app if you update you OS otherwise you may have problems. Makes sense

    How come Toyota can't get out the update in time? All other major apps I have had had updates over the last two days. I don't use the crappy Entune app so I don't care, but come on...

    Not sure where you live, but nTelos is a local carrier. iPhones are $50 cheaper than everywhere else. Uses sprint network.

    Sprint data plan is unlimited data, but it is not the lightening fast LTE network.

    Sprint just can't compete with AT&T and Verizon on data transfer speed in the San Diego market.

    Sprint is unlimited but slow.

    Call quality can't say.

    Jailbreak I avoid. I worked with a guy who uses the jailbreak OS thus he can download all the unauthorized iPhone apps. Apple than makes no money and the developers make no money. Piracy is a form of stealing.

    I stay within the OEM guidelines.

    I know in China and Russia jailbrake is very common. American usage is growing.

    I'm surprised Apple has not made a stronger position to shut it down, perhaps because they still make money in the hand set sale. My guess is in the future they will find a few offenders and make a legal example. It is a clear violation if the OS terms and conditions

    Am I stupid JMD? My phone doesn't seem to find the iOS7 update. I can't remember what I did the in past to get the newest version. Am I too early this morning?

    EDIT: Looks like it's not available at all times for everyone.

    I keep getting emails saying "So-and-so wants to add you to their LinkedIn list" or whatever. In every case but one, I do not know the person. In that one case, it might be someone I know. I just assume those emails are all spam, and I delete them without responding. I do not have a LinkedIn account. I do not know whether LinkedIn, or just some spammer, is sending me those emails. Wikipedia says that LinkedIn is a social networking site for people in professional occupations. I've never been in a professional occupation. I've been a farm hand, I've worked in a homeless shelter, and I've worked as a translator.

    If you are looking for a Job or selling something LinkedIn may be good for you. If not than don't bother. If you want to do more with your translation business LinkedIn may be beneficial in getting your skill highlighted.

    Linked has LION which means they want to expand the network they can sell to by soliciting connections. I tend to ignore the invites unless I meet them or in some cases they know someone I know or worked for a company I'm familiar with.

    I will probaly delete my Linked account soon since I hardly use it.

    LinkedIn is frequently used by job recruiters to fill a position. Employers can post a job for free. LinkedIn sells upgraded accounts on a per month fee called Premium accounts. They also sell advertising on a bid basis.
