I'm not sure what the dealer cost but I installed the kit myself and it was very easy. There is alot of tutorials here on PriusChat and online. The tools you will need will vary on what you will be installing. Plus, once you purchase each item for the Prius package, it should come with instructions and what tools are needed for the install. It's easy, just take your time doing the job. You'll appreciate your car even more!!

Can you please post a close up shot of those wheels?! I have the same and have been thinking of either plasti-dip or painting/powder-coat. This will help me decide. Thanks a bunch.

$375 is not bad for the springs and trd bar installed. $800 from dealer is a rip off. Wonder how much a body shop would charge to install body kit...

If I had to do it again, I think I would take about 2 hour or less... so that's $180/hour.

I forgot I had these photos beloe. To me even though it's evident in the photo, it's even more noticeable in person.

I have the OEM plus kit and when I was installing it the sides and front are not really any lower. The sides just hve a bodyline in them but are the same height as the original sides. The front pieces add less than 1/2" if that. The rear is the only part of the kit that is really lower than the stock pieces.

Where did you have the springs and bar installed? I lived in the east bay. Is your tint 30% all around? I also noticed you have a cap on license plate mount. Where did you find that? I hate to admit but we exactly have the same color.

I'm not the person who posted those pics, but you can buy bumper plugs here:

    BumperPlugs for Toyota

In terms of installing the springs and sway bar in the east bay, you might check out

    Carters Automotive Repair

I had mine done elsewhere but can't recommend the place I went to.

Luscious Garage in SF can do it too.

Thanks for the info. I heard about Luscious Garage. Did you order your supension upgrade online? I am planning to upgrade TRD springs and rear sway bar. Maybe also the strut bar. I was looking at Sportivo, very pricey upgrade.

I ordered my Plus springs and sway bar via Toyota Dealerships on eBay.

Where did you have your lowering springs installed? Luscious Garage quoted me $600 to install TRD Lowering springs and TRD rear sway bars.
