Air flow from fans with AC on max.

    still working on the ac problem, both fans are blowing IN towards the motor with the AC on max, inside fan on high.(blower was replaced by dealer 5/13)..still no cold air..is the air flow correct?

    Doesn't sound right, if the air flow is being sucked into the registers instead of blowing out. Might the fans electrical connections be backward causing the fans to run in reverse? What does the dealer say?

    The OP is talking about the fans behind the radiator. The fans need to pull air through the radiator and exhaust towards the motor, just like when the car is moving.

    dealer says at least $250 every time they open the hood...thats why Im trying to fix it myself

    it seems the filter in the dryer is clogged with oil and bits of old compressor.the filter sock was almost black when I removed it, it was just put in with the 3rd compressor in may 2013..I have no idea why two shops didnt check this..Im betting the expansion valve in blocked with metal shards..I was told from a local shop $400 for the labor plus parts with no clue if it will fix the problem or not...I hope its a long cool winter so I dont have to worry about it for a while.
