    now theres something you dont see everyday..
    a prius in a high speed police chase in Florida


    it didnt end well but there should be some parts for sale soon.

    And folks wonder why I say we will always be able to buy HV Batteries used, rather than pay for a new battery.
    Look how well protected the battery is as the car flies by.

    I thought the Prius was electrically limited to 23 mph in reverse.

    Troopers said the driver of the Prius, fled a DUI
    stop and was going over 100 mph when he ran a red light and slammed into
    another car.

    The suspect was thrown from the Prius and critically injured.



    Troopers had to put out the burning wreckage in order to rescue an 18-year-old passenger trapped in the wreckage.


    Two people in the second vehicle were also hurt. One
    person was thrown from the car and seriously injured, and a passenger
    inside his vehicle suffered minor injuries.


    The driver that tried to elude police remains in the
    hospital but is facing a slew of felony charges including aggravated
    fleeing with serious bodily injury.



    Court records show this is the third time he is accused of fleeing from law enforcement.



    He's on state and county probation.
