any one can help me .....

    hallo ........

    I sent my car to the mechanic, and after I returned the car and found that he may change the
    Inverter by another one

    The car does not work well now.

    Is it possible to know if it has been tampered with my car via the vehicle's computer.
    And how?

    I think hi is Specialist and may be he reset the computer to accept the new one

    did you take it to Toyota to have the work done? I didn't think, bad move to save a few dollars not everyone can work on a Prius, now you may know why.you probably need to do what you should have done in the first place take the car to Toyota have them diagnose it.

    As mentioned a number of times, take it to an authorized Toyota dealer.

    $3,000. is very likely the inverter. sounds like he messed something up. did he replace the inverter coolant pump as well? also, the inverter warranty is 3/36 i believe.

    he took his car to the mechanic for repair and 3k later, something is wrong.:eek:
