    Yes there are many sources and or brands for what appears to be the same unit. On ebay some of the sellers only sell this android HU for lots of different vehicles and they have positive reviews.... tempting

    Very interesting. I like the fact that it also has AM/FM integrated which has always been a show stopper for other tablet and car PC options. The marketing materials are pretty horrible for these products as there is no product demonstrations and you have to search hard for a listing that even has a detailed description. I'm guessing the manual is pretty crappy too. Have you checked the mp3car.com forums for any reviews?

    IIRC, the 3G CDMA in Asia operates on a different frequency than the US. Unless a local is found who reports successful use I would be skeptical this feature can be used.

    I am not crazy over this feature since tethering is possible through my phone and the unit supports wifi

    Though I do not own any apple product this unit does have a connection in the back for an ipod or other apple devices. the last link I posted has a photo in it depicting all connections to the back of the unit. Yes the Ipod connector is there.

    Link above says ipod supported seems to be the best spec'd unit 1ghz a10 cortex with 1gb ram

    Also if you look through the photos there is a screen shot that shows the IPOD icon through the UI
