On android you can download tom tom app or any other map program. Some of these units seem to dual boot and support wince 6.. this is a similar OS to the standalone nave units

If its dual boot it gives you best of both worlds. I would assume the basic radio tuner and CD/DVD features are ran from the win CE interface...this would also support the iPod connection.. And unlimited apps could be ran with android

I purchased a very similar Android device for my Prius 6 month ago, but I suffers from the software issues. The BT is cannot connect to my phone. (no hand free calling) The Android Play always refuse the software download after the first synchronization. I cannot connect to any 3G USB modem. The APN configuration (mobile operator config) software is not working in this software and so on. Lastly, after several upgrading the TFT panel remains dark. I can see nothing on the display. This is not a usual USA/EU or Japan quality. I should buy a good Nexus7/iPad Mini that are more reliable. So I am disappointed in this device, but I hope it will be repaired. Maybe.
