-------------2007 Prius... which wheel is the drive wheel?

    On a traditional rear-wheel drive car, the RR is the drive wheel. Is the front right the drive wheel on a Prius? My tire wear is even and I can't tell.

    On a rear wheel drive car BOTH wheels pull via the differential. Are you thinking about which tire does a burn-out when it loses traction?

    On a Prius, both front wheels propell the car, also through a differential in the transaxle. The left front tire tends to wear faster, but that is because of the extra weight over it, not because it is the only wheel driving.

    Except the extra wear over the driver tire assumes it is mostly driven solo or loaded on that side.

    Any standard front or rear wheel drive differential will drive the wheel with the least traction. It takes a "limited slip" differential to drive both wheels. Even then one may "slip" compared to the other as one wheel runs faster than the other around curves and bends.
