    Hello,

I am picking up my 2013 Prius V 5 later this week and am looking to order a cover for the back seat. On some road trips I bring my 80 pound rott and he sits in the backseat. Needless to say, the shedding can become an issue and I prefer to put a washable seat cover over the back seats on the trips. If you can recommend a brand and where I should look for one, I would appreciate it.

    Thanks for your help.

You might consider one of the hammocks.

I carry a harbor freight moving blanket in the back for all sorts of things. It's big, thick and cheap.

I keep the seats folded down and use a 6x4 commercial door mat to cover the whole back end. If you need to keep the seats up for some reason, the hammock is the ticket. And it has the advantage of catching hair & slobber and keeping it off the seat backs. I see a lot of hair collecting on the back floor and under the rear seats too, the hammock would help with that as well. Just depends on how much time that canines spend in the car. Mine are in there several times a week for an hour or so. Monthly slobber scrubs and hair cleanup is required.
