    Hey all,
Trying to find some info on the site here but the search bar keeps screwing me around so I figure I'd just post up...

Just picked up an 05 with the Nav and Bluetooth Phone connection, JBL Speakers all that jazz.
I can't find any Aux. input, is there one?
And if not, is there a way to use the bluetooth for the integrated Phone to play music that way?

Thanks all for the noob help.

Nope, not until 2006 and was an option.
Not that I know of, but you can put an FM modulator in.

Sound quality with an FM modulator is really poor. Check out USA Spec. I just checked their site for your 2005 and the same one I put in my 2007, PA20-TOY is compatible with 2005. Pretty easy to install, one cable in the back of OEM radio, module fits in the back compartment of glove box easily. Has an iPod adapter, so digital quality. Controls volume and advance song from steering wheel. Change to next, playlist, album, artist from touch screen or control iPod directly.
BT35-TOY gives you Bluetooth. I can't personally vouch for that one.

Thanks, but it looks like their site has been down, have not been able to see any product specs on there for a while.. I do not use iPod/phoens, all Android/bluetooth instead... was thinking of getting an android tablet and mounting it over the stock stereo if I could get a bluetooth/USB or AUX connection ran.

I just visited the site, but it looks like it's changed. Use to have a vehicle compatibility tool.
I found a review of the BT35-TOY on Amazon. Cited Below. The installation sounds like the same way I did m iPod adapter, but I have the CD changer. I have been very satisfied with my iPod adapter.

"I bought this because I wanted a way to connect my android phone to my car for music and phone calls, and but didn't want to replace the factory stereo. The BT35 does pretty much everything it's supposed to do. Overall I am impressed with its ability to add functionality that the original head unit was never meant to have.

Installation was fairly easy, with simple instructions. I was able to install it without actually having to remove the factory radio or most of the dash assembly. I removed the lower glove box, the vent panel to the right of the radio without tools. Then there is a plastic wiring box that has to be moved out of the way; it has a 10mm bolt at the top and a plastic clip on the bottom. The bottom clip took a while to figure out how to remove without breaking it. Since my car didn't have a cd changer, I didn't have to even unplug anything, just plug the cable into the slot next to the main radio harness plug.

All of the features in the product's description work except it does not display caller's number on my car. This is not too surprising though since my factory radio doesn't have any lcd display and displays station info on the touchscreen. When I start my car, it automatically connects with a voice that says "connected". Steering wheel controls work. It switches to bluetooth mode when you get a call, even if the radio is off. "

Was just doing some research on the BT35-TOY and it looks like there are known issues with the music sound quality streaming from the device over the bluetooth and this was bacially just made for hands free calling... USASPEC is replacing everyones BT35-TOY with the wired version PA15 for the people that care about the music streaming over the phone usage.

OK. I saw some negative reviews, but from other models of cars, not Prius so wasn't sure if that was the difference.
