theres no need, the TRD springs give you alot of clearance over anything, don't worry you will not scrap the front bumper ><

Agree 100%. I had the TRD springs on for about 15k and my rear shocks do feel rather worn, but the fronts are still OK; I am now back to the stock springs again.

Thankfully, new shocks for the rear were only about $70 shipped from Camelback Toyota.

So why did you go back to stock springs?

So did replacing the shocks fix the problem?

I was trying to troubleshoot the bouncing rear end, plus I got tired of the silly look with 15s.

I have the shocks already but have not had a chance to install them. Hopefully I will have time in the coming weeks.

Too bad that I don't have them with me.

I'll have to post a picture of the shocks on Monday for proof. ;)

Has anyone seen or done side-by-side ride and handling comparisons between the different springs/coilovers available?

I don't think it did but the OE 15s with the OE wheel covers are not the most stylish choice. :p

sdtundra is running OE 15s without covers and lowering springs and his car looks good. Still, 17s really do dress things up. Or nice 16s ;)

I'm about to take mine in tomorrow to get it lowered by the dealer with the Tein H-Tech and I've read somewhere in the forums that alignment should be done about a week after so they've settled a bit... is that recommended or should I get it done during installation?

I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of different answers, but it would be helpful based on people's experiences. Thanks in advanced.

I got an alignment done right after my lowering springs were installed.

You can do an alignment as long as they do the drop with the suspension unbound(loosen the LCA bolts) before hand otherwise you will need to wait for the car to settle.

I'm not exactly sure what the dealer did with the alignment, but they threw that in there at no cost (dealers rob you here). They did three alignments ... before, after and then again. Not exactly sure why three times, but at least it's "aligned." I'll do another alignment as most people have suggested. Thanks!

Also those with the TEIN H-Tech lowering springs, how much of a drop did everyone else get? The dealer measured the fender height before/after and they said overall, the car got a 2" drop. I thought the TEIN springs did a 1.2 ~ 1.3" drop?
