Those worked really well for me along with the Toyota emblem sticker. I had tires replaced while on vacation and after a couple of days, I noticed one missing. They stay on if you do it right yourself, so be sure and check the fit if anyone else R/R them.

Just popped off one of the covers on my new to me 2011. A trip to a hardware store is in my future after the next wash since there was lots of road dust hiding under there. I have to admit this mod was on my mind as I was shopping. Is there any rhyme or reason to which models get what color alloys under the wheel covers? I initially thought it was tied to body color but that didn't seem to always be true.

I found highly polished steel covers, $ 1.69 @, for the holes at an industrial supplier out here in 'Diego. As soon as I buy a pressure washer to keep the wheels spotless (stockers aren't fun to keep clean) I'm getting a set and pitching the hub caps! :0

Tell me about that blue pin stripe around the rim. I've got the silver wheels. I was thinking of making the center cap body color blue but I like that stripe.

Pep Boys Auto - 3M molding, comes in Blue, Yellow and Red, have a drink (or two) before you apply and make sure your rims are clean first!

Slight correction to my above post: The automotive trim is made by Cowles Custom and is a 3M product. It is 1/4 in wide and 20 feet long.

I used this exact paint, looks perfect with the wheels, and the shine is almost dead on! Thanks for telling me about them.

The contact area between the "plug" and the wheel is so small that I'm going to try a tiny drop of super glue on 2 of the tabs before installing, 180 degrees apart. That may help keep vibration from loosening them. I'll post after this has worked (or not) for a few miles.

Hey everyone. This is such a great customization. For your information I found that the Rustoleum Wheel paint matches perfectly.

Maybe 3 minutes each wheel. The first one took a little longer until I got the hang out it. I just sat on the garage floor and applied them - had a razor blade to cut the end. Used my finger to run around the wheel rim to space the tape evenly all the way around. It was about 70 degrees in the garage when I did it, and ensured the wheel was clean before applying of course.
