New Navi DVD

    I have purchased the new update for my 2010 Prius navigation system. However, not that it is installed I cannot input any address. The only thing I can do is input a telephone number and I don't always have that.

    Has anyone else dealt with this?

    No. Take it back to the dealer and have them try another DVD.

    Also, have them verify that you have the correct DVD for your vehicle.

    I just got my 2014 prius a few days ago. Wondering if you can tell me where is the dvd at? My old prius 05 dvd is located at the driver side but could not find dvd on 14 prius??

    Mine (2010) is in the same location as the CD player. I had to click "Info" then Maps and then Eject.

    I still couldn't find it. Are u saying the DVD map should be in the CD player? Under which menu to eject DVD?

    What question are you asking as I'm not sure. Are you having trouble finding the DVD/CD player slot - it's behind the display which drops down when you press the EJECT button.

    Or are you asking where the actual DVD disc with navigation data is located? In that case you don't have a DVD - the navigation data is preloaded into the headunit. When it comes time to update the nav data, you purchase a DVD from your dealer (for $150 - RIP OFF) and load it into the DVD/CD player which causes the NAV unit to update it's data.

    As far as I know, 2013 and newer Prii have the latest Nav data - there is no newer disc available.
