Steering wheel won't lock

    The manual says, have the car in Park, push in the key and turn to the lock position to lock the steering wheel. That's not happening!! Am I missing something?

    Every car I've had would lock the steering wheel when turned with the key out of the ignition with the car off.

    The 3/4 does lock. I can confirm that. We don't have keys... so I would imagine that yours should lock if you don't have the key in. But I can't confirm it as I don't remember. There is a thread on the forum about it, try a search and see if you come up with something. I made a comment on it about the 4 locking without the key.

    Aha! Didnt have the wheel cranked far enough!!! Problem solved. This thread can be deleted. Thanks for replies!

    Yes! It has to be cranked about 75°. Quite a bit!!
