how many gallons do you average per fuel up?

Just put in my 9th tank today. The light started blinking yesterday. I forgot to check the DTE, but it was probably around 7-8 miles left, if I had to guess. It clicked off at ~8.5 but I managed to get in 8.794 gallons (and yes, I like to top off because that could mean another week of not going to the gas station)

Here are my previous fills:

3. 7.276
4. 8.653
5. 8.252
6. 8.463
7. 8.751
8. 8.765
9. 8.794 (today)

So average fill up for me has been 8.506 gallons

 

In my case (and I assume most others), I just get it off the pump/receipt

 

if you put your stats into the spreadsheet, it's motivation for keeping good records.

 

Ya, I just take the receipt. That way I can enter it into my mileage spreadsheet as well as my budget spreadsheet (I keep track of every penny I spend and make).

 

In the last fillup, I filled 8.94 and that was the highest in 1 year of owning PiP, I was wondering if I was testing my luck. I guess the capacity is 9.5g. I do get bit of range anxiety when I see the last bar blinking. But lot of times, I dont pay attention on when it started.

 

Never Mind. Nothing to see here...stay behind the yellow tape and move along.

 

Again...I've done 9.774. The capacity is 10.5.

 

Oh.. Thx. For whatever reason, I was thinking that it is 9 or 9.5. Good to know.
I also decided to check the specs and found that it is 10.6g the capacity according to specs.
