I'm noticing a couple of things this morning this morning. First, if "reply" to someone's posting, I don't get their text in quotes. Also, as I type, the bottom of the edit window keeps dropping further and further, with every character I type.

The smoking gun could very likely be that my browser was just updated by my system (WIN7) to Internet Explorer 11.

Another thing, just noticed: if I try to edit my post in the pop-up window, it accepts new characters, but then just sort of freezes, and IE becomes unresponsive. If I cancel the pop-up it unfreezes, and I'm able to do an edit in the "more options" editor. (I think..., trying it now ;))

Have you tried another browser like Chrome or Firefox?

I think I noticed that other thread, then had an Alzheimer's moment...

Rollbacks and/or switching to another browser will resolve the problem, obviously, but...

Anyway, hope it gets resolved. ;)

No change so far. The ability to quote is still not working, same thing for the pop-up edit window.

Again this is with Windows Internet Explorer version 11. I'd think in the next few weeks, with Windows Updates, it'll be the predominant browser being used, if it's not already.

Did you report it to Microsoft, as it appears to be a problem with IE v11 and not this website?

Trying to view postings with multiple image attachment is misbehaving too. It sort of works: if you click the first image it pops up, and shows thumbnails of the subsequent images along the bottom. Click on the other thumbnails and sometimes they show, sometimes not. Clicking the arrows at right and left side of current popped up image is also flakey: about 50/50 chance (at best) that the image will shift to the next.

Again, this is with Microsoft's Internet Explorer version 11 browser.

Click on Help in menu bar at top right. Then click on About.

Upper right hand corner of your web access page (Explorer) after address bar, click on round looking gear. Click on "About Internet Explorer" below and it will give you the Version installed.

No, at top of IE Explorer window. Look for your menu bar with, File, Edit, View, etc. It may be at top left of window. Last option on menu bar on right is Help, it's a Windows convention.

With Windows 7, Explorer is an optional update you must select. Run Windows update and you will see it as an option just begging to get on. Don't opt for Explorer 11, in fact hide it. Instead do a search for Explorer 10 in your address bar and update from the prompted Microsoft site.

There is a one school of wisdom in life that says "if it ain't broke...don't fix it". Me...back-ups and mandatory updates religiously...especially with a Windows machine...optional updates...sometimes better to wait until market feed back comes in. Almost every version of Explorer has problems when first released, so although I will give it a run, I usually roll back until the dust settles. I use Chrome for almost everything except hooking up to the server at work and NVidia driver updates.

If your happy with your machine...so be it. ;)
