    Good to know.
Also, the TPMS is reprogrammed simply by turning key 'on', then holding TPMS button under dash (next to OBD II connector) until the dash TPMS light blinks three times, then leave on for a few minutes before turning car off.

Bisco, I can be hard of hearing and reading sometimes too! :p
I do like the strange sound of the imitation engine. To me it matches the otherworldly characteristics of our new PiP! (y)

It may not be practical to move the existing beeper. It may be soldered onto a board under the dash somewhere. If you want, you can tap power from one of the backup bulbs, run a wire under the back of the car, put a beeper there. Maybe just pour hot wax over the existing beeper, be done with it.

Yeh, I thought better later about removing the factory beeper under dash. Better to just shut it off and add whatever I might want to the back.

I think you might find that a number of different warning functions use that same beeper unit and it might not be practicable to disable it.

32K and Feri I apologize regard the resetting of the settings when disconnecting the battery. This is the case with the gen2 and something Toyota has obviously improved on the gen3, but the other points still stand.

When I was referring to the TPM system I should have been clearer. If you change wheels for the winter or fit new tyre valves you have to register the valve with the TPMS, and this cannot be done with the buttons under the dash. Unless this has been changed for the gen3.
