I face a problem that I have ecu controlled by parking shift. The ecu may take signal from the let light on the parking switch. However, the signal strength is not a problem during daytime, but when it is dimmed during light time and it seems the signal is not strong enough taken by my ecu.

Is there anyone who knows how to either strengthen the signal or not dim the led on the parking button.

Nah, that is a different circuit.

So are you saying the car fails to go into park when you press the Park switch? And this happens only when the lights are on? If there is any issue at all, take it to the dealer.

no, it gets into park for sure. however, i have an external ecu module using the signal of parking from the oem terminal. I guess if the signal of parking P on the oem terminal is from the LED light because I saw the led light is a little bit weak when instrument light is dimmed. when the instrument light is not dimmed my ecu can take the signal for sure, but not when it is dimmed.

I think he's describing an add-on "invention" that he's actuating with the Park status LED.

Possibly a lead from the shift control module (that actuates the parking pawl actuator)?
