I finally got around to Plasti dipping my emblem(s) and add the umbrella stickers. The letters were a challenge. Must do the side and front emblems tomorrow or early next week.

I got my carpool stickers today too. I can finally drive carpool : D

It was in reply to my post. He asked what vehicle the shift knob came out of. I replied and he replied with the statement above

Been quite a while... finally got two mods that were long over due. Jdm steering wheel and new pedals, both products from MIT on ebay.

I have those sitting in a box for months. How was the install of the pedals?

Also was your steering wheel a bit off? I need to re-install it.

That's common with JDM steering wheels. I just had an alignment done to correct it.

Infini was advised to adjust it via the tie rod ends previously. I guess it never happened.

Adjusting the tie rods are not really an efficient way to help the car though. I know it's common guys. But not always the case of the aftermarket part being at fault. Might be with me but I put mine on without checking if the wheels were exactly straight. they were off a tad. Also it's been shared that getting an alignment does not always do the trick.

It's not a matter of the aftermarket part being at fault. The splines aren't exactly the same as stock or even between OEM steering wheels. Nine out of 10 times the splines won't line up exactly the same, requiring adjusting the tie rods. This is also true if you replace it with another OEM steering wheel. That's why you can have up to 1.5mm difference (1-turn of the tie rod) and still be within spec according to the service manual.

It does not matter. I was not asking people here for advice lol. I was asking the OP if they had this problem. I have been paying attention to the threads on this particular problem thanks. I do not know why this has become something it's not. He answered. It's over.

Well Im getting it tailored to my liking. I am weird about steering wheels, I have to have a cover, not cheap Wal-Mart ones, I like the Wheelsking real leather that you lace up. I hate factory feel of most steering wheels, The Prius' was pretty bad, I hate the feel of plastic. So I wrapped her up last night, installed my TOYPD2, threw on some FIAMM horns and installed Weathertech Ventguards, Ive always like them, I know some people don't but I like their look. Im still waiting on my ESS switch, Splash guards, Weathertech floor mats, New wheels n tires and am still searching for a LCD AD rearview mirror and BU cam. Here are some pics, didn't really take too many, but I know if you cant back it up with a pic it didn't happen:)

Love that pin stripe. I used to always buy those leather steering wheel wraps, spend an hour putting them on every car lol. They are cool but my OEM steering wheel had an all leather wrap that I think is better looking but a bit more cushy than those plus the string never comes loose.

I though about a pin stripe. but I have a thing for navy blue. not sure navy blue pinstripe would look good on a white car with grey interior

Ok some left over things Sean installed today we were supposed to do last week but ran out of time.

No more bulky CB truck driver looking wires hanging on the dash lol! That's my HD video GPS Black box.

Thanks guys, I buy steering wheel cover for every car they just feel good, I'm
Usually against pin striping and take it off immediately, compound buff n wax but this pin stripe works for me so I left it.

The steering wheel wasn't off at all. Lines up perfectly but I took my time with the install. All the pedals were easy to do, but I did have difficulty with the gas pedal. I used a flathead screwdriver to pry the back of the plastic over the pedal slowly. Its the hardest install cause its the only pedal that you go over the original rubber.
