When sitting in my life C with the power on listening to music there is no clock available on the touch screen. Any mods for this?

Won't that drain the battery real fast?

Nope, but sitting with heat/ac on will drain it fast; however engine will kick on to regen, so really no worries, and you can always turn off the touch display if you want to be a little more conservative

Shouldn't the dash clock be enough??? since I would just turn my display off anyway if I was just sitting in it listening to music

Maybe I'm not doing something right. When I just push the power button without the brake the touch screen powers up but not the engine or dash. I cycled through all the entune apps and could not find a clock on any of the screens.

    Nexus 7 ?

That's a different mode than what the above was referencing. He thought you meant car on. You are referring to ACC mode.

Thanks-any way to extend the auto off function in this mode (seems like it powers off after 15 minutes)?

The car is designed to shut down the electronics after 15 mins. That way if you leave your headlights on they will turn off. At least that's the theory, I haven't tested it out.

While generally the 15-minute shutdown is a good feature, it's a real pain at the drive-in theater that uses FM radio for sound.

You should not have the car in ACC mode at the drive in. It's bad for the battery. Turn it on so that the car can charge the battery when it needs it.
