    Hey everyone!

Happened to be at the Cleveland car show over the weekend. Took some shots of the Prius SCCA Solo II car.

    Here are the listed mods:

ZZE Series Celica coil-over front struts (TRD USA), with special spring and dampening rates.

ZZE series Matrix rear suspension units (TRD USA), with changed spring length and stiffness.

Prius Racer front fenders and front lip spoiler.

    "Rolled" rear fenders.

WedsSport TC-005 lightweight forged racing wheels.

    Hoosier 9" racing slicks.

    Prius Racer 6-point roll cage.

    SPARCO carbon fiber racing seats.

    Molly Design graphics.

Hope everyone enjoys the pics. Beyond the roll cage, seats and steering wheel, everything looked stock inside.

Thank you OHIOCITYPRIUS for grabbing these shots of the car. I have been looking for a while to see how the public is reacting to the car. Good to see those of you out their enjoying Mike and I's work. Unfortunatly the specs posted are the "simplified so the public understands them" specs, if anyone is interested in more detailed info (regarding drivetrain, etc.) then I would be happy to send out a revised general spec list again on this thread. I would also be happy to post the hi-res photos of the car for anyone to look at as well. Thank you again for your interest!

    Strong,

I'd love to see the "real" specs. I'm really curious about horsepower/torque figures and what kind of increases have been seen. Also, I've wondered how a CVT holds up to the stresses of an SCCI event.

I really like the look of the car. It is surprising what a graphics package, wheels, tires and suspension can. I was quite impressed and I found many at the show to be quite surprised that a Prius could be the real deal.

I loved the car and can't wait to drive the "city-fied" version! Still on the wait list.

It's the old get-everything special-god-mode code for many many Konami games old and recent. It's especially fun if you have to do it on the dance pad/mat with your feet.

This is as we know it here in the states as the same ECU controls that the Land Speed record Prius had. Boost inverter, ecu controls and some other little details. For the purpose of public consumption, we use in-house TRD Japan (the same builders of the Prius GT demonstrater) as the named supplier for this component. Also for public consumption, and SCCA rules (which are very strict), our changes limit only electronic control over the VVT-i, fuel and spark maps, and boost inverter. When the car returns from the auto show circuit the Wiesmann locker and ECU controls will be installed. More info will follow the Prius community is interested. As for now we are just trying to showcase the Prius in a new light.

What is the offset on the 17x8.5 Wed's wheels? I am looking at some 17x8.0 and want to know what offset I should use. Most people have mentioned try to stay as close as possible to 45mm. I dont plan on lowering the car so I hope rubbing during corning isn't an issue.

    Thanks,
    Cola

I would like to know what Eibach part number coil springs, progressive no doubt, that are on the SCCA solo2 Prius.
I installed Eibach progressive springs on other cars, together with fast acting gas shock absorbers to control the higher spring rate. The Eibachs were reasonable in price and worked very well, greatly improving control, ride, handling without a harsh ride. Although the cars were lowered a little, the progressive design of the Eibach springs provided much greater resistance to bottoming out and high resistance to sagging under load.
